About the Role

Join Sika at a global corporate level and drive the growth of our Adhesive Technologies business within the Commercial Transportation industry. In this highly visible role, you will lead three key areas of responsibility: global key account management for Off-Highway Vehicles, the strategic development of the Americas region, and the growth of the Off-Highway Vehicles segment across Europe. By shaping market strategy, building strong customer partnerships, and identifying new business opportunities, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Sika's global market position.

We are looking for a recognized industry expert with deep expertise in adhesive technologies and their applications within commercial transportation, combined with the commercial acumen and strategic mindset required to translate technical knowledge into sustainable business growth.

Main Tasks:

  • Drive business growth across Transportation customer segments with a focus on the Americas
  • Lead key initiatives for business expansion into additional applications on global scale
  • Identify new business opportunities through market analysis and customer engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry partners
  • Develop and execute growth initiatives in collaboration with regional and global teams
  • Support sales organizations in customer acquisition and market expansion
  • Lead strategic projects, track business opportunities, and drive innovation
  • Deliver training, support marketing activities, and represent Sika at industry events
  • Manage and grow selected global key accounts, including commercial negotiations and strategic planning

Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Extensive knowledge of Adhesive technologies gained through 5-10 years of experience in Business Development, Key Account Management, or Sales roles
  • In-depth knowledge of the Commercial Transportation industry, including market dynamics and customer requirements
  • Proven success in driving business growth through Business Development, Sales, Strategic Marketing, or Product Management, supported by several years of relevant experience.
  • International business experience, ideally with exposure to the Americas/USA market
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills such as Spanish, German, or French are an asset
  • Strong commercial acumen combined with technical understanding
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking
  • Readiness to travel internationally up to 30%
